Day 2

Today,  its Election Day!  Yes I voted!!! It's my God given right to vote !  Many men and women have died for the opportunity to keep our America Safe and for the Right to vote!

I Ohio Voting ...  ?????  I'm assuming the Ohio is supposed to look like a Heart????  Ummmm  ???


Today I did about what I did yesterday with the food...   same breakfast... same snacks .. ONLY I found out the Kashi Cherry dark chocolate granola bar is only 1 point.. so yes I had that this afternoon about 4:00 because I would leave work at 4:30 and go straight to take back a cord to the cable company .. and then run over to Best Buy to see if they had a sensor bar for the Wii we are going to put down stairs.  (so I can exercise without anyone watching!  LOL  =D
 I haven't exercised today yet.. but sure am sore from yesterday ... even my shoulders.. probably from the push ups.. OOOouchy!!!

Breakfast:
 1 egg with 1 oz sausage  scrambled  (7 points )
Mid morning :  
  Grapes (0 points)
Lunch:
  Pork Rice Soup  (pork carrots,peas, corn, onions, broth, rice)   (8 points)
Mid afternoon:
 Carrots   (0 points)
Supper: 
  1 chicken thigh and 1cup whole wheat rigatoni and peas with Alfredo sauce  (11 points)
Snack:
apple  (0 points)
1 Kashi bar  (1 point)


Dag on... I'm out of points again!  And it isn't even 8:00 .. Maybe thats a good thing!   LOL!!  Good thing the grapes, carrots and apple is FREE Points!!   Ey Ey Ey!!

    GOOD NEWS!! If they started you out on 27 points, you do not have far to go at all!!! I have read that 26 is the absolute lowest points they give :)
    I'm still at 33 daily points :(
    Going to check out the fruit and veggie thing though because what I read was eat all the 0 point items you want. (I have yet to hear of someone getting to 200lbs because they ate too many apples LOL )
    The power foods are low point foods that keep you full longer. I can have a muffin for the same points as a poached egg on a light english muffin, the later will keep me fuller longer and so that would be the better choice.
    I am hardly the answer queen on this as I'm a newbie too, so I don't want to steer you wrong about the 5 servings. (Maybe that just haven't broken that news to me yet. LOL )
    You're doing great kid! Keep it up!

    1. BethAnne that's so funny!! Yes you are totally right.. never have I found anyone get overweight by eating too many apples!! hahahahha I haven't tried the 'light muffins and have never made a poached egg... will be trying that for sure!!! light english muffins are going on my grocery list!!! =D Thanks for the description on the power foods!!! Its really good to know!
