Dec 5th

Yesterday I 'weighed in'  ..   I'm down 4.4 pounds...   Not Great but I'm not gaining.. I am now down to where I was before I started gaining back.  =\    I need to start walking more.. but its just really hard to get out of bed after only 5 hour sleep.. (yes that's my fault.. some because I wait up for Karl but others is because I read...  and read .. and Read )    So I should stop making excuses and get up and WALK!   =D   now that I've said it..  I need to DO it! Isn't there a verse in the Bible... Don't just read the word .. Obey the Word!  Yes  I need to take both of these and 'heed the words'   =D    I pray that I start taking it all serious.. I really need to ... in every area of my life!!!  

 On a better note....   =)     I'm taking Val on a Missions trip on Friday!  Its going to be so fun!  WE are going with the church to Welch WV...  to a very poor area of WV ..  WE will be handing out 500 gifts to kids .. from new borns to 18 years old!   giving blankets, food, and showing them a Human Drama.     We will sleep in the Armory and travel in a Chartered Bus...  we will drive down on Friday Dec. 7th and come back Saturday Dec 8th ...  we will leave the church at 9 and get home about 10 pm on Saturday!  I can't wait!

Who Knows what day..

so sorry I lost count... missed too many!
Well Thanksgiving is over .. Our anniversary party is over ...  and its time to get back on track.. I've tried to stay with eating under the Maximum points .. but I'm sure I have gone way over.!!!    26 points in a day just doesn't seem enough!  =D  LOL !!!  Especially with Pumpkin pie,  key lime pie, Anniversary cake!
 So I'm back on the right track.. I didn't gain weight over the holidays.. but I certainly didn't lose... 

Today there was an insurance RN that came to the house to take my blood, weight and height and all my medical history...   well I almost took the lady out to keep the scales at my house...   needless to say.. they were 20 pounds off.. YES IN MY FAVOR.. Seriously!!!  20 pounds... I called her on it but she said.. these scales are the ones I always use.!!!   So who am I to argue with her!!!  =D  

My mom and dad are still here and going to stay a few more days...  I am so thankful that I put meals in the freezer!  Its been so nice just grabbing out of the freezer and enjoying them instead of cooking all the time!  AND being tempted to go just grab food.. no matter what I can find!   =D   Good meatloaf, lima beans, corn, salad, and roasted potatoes last night...   night before last .. Veggie soup...  tonight  Chicken pot pie!!!  Ahhh yes!!!  sounds good to me!!! I'll put a side of saute'd peppers and onions and squash so I wont want to eat my fill of Chicken pot pie!!     But I'll probably have a slice of that Cheese cake!  LOL !!!

So far I've only lost 2.6 pounds in 3 weeks.. but losing nothing the week of Thanksgiving I guess that was ok... I Did start something this week that wasn't pleasant but after I got there it was enjoyable...  I met Deb at the church at 7:15 2 mornings this week!!  2 days in a row was a bit much but we walked through the back loop past the kids gym and walked for an hour both days!! I think that is something I will continue!!!  I feel a bit better  seems it really helped me get back in the groove!!!

Day 15

 Today is the day before Thanksgiving EVE!  I'm trying to decide if I need to clean more or bake or re-arrange the furniture.. or  or or ...   I made some Weight Watchers Chocolate Chip Buttermilk Scones...  Yup they sure look good!!!!  =D  Cant wait to taste them!!!

THey look as good as these do!!!    Valerie came over so Hillary could go to Isaac's Thanksgiving party so we decided to get started with making a Lot of yummies .. so far that's as far as we got.. Then she had to leave and go to swim class!!!  It was fun!!!  She knows where all the cooking utensils are.. She loves getting out all of the supplies!!!  

Today for Breakfast I ate  an egg and a sausage link.. I'm thinking that is so much better for me for breakfast.  I seem to stay full longer than if I have yogurt or cereal!  So I'm going to stick with the protein for breakfast... (until I have a whim for something else!)   =)  

I had to go ahead and schedule my insurance medical stuff today.. so I have a week and 2 days to lose 3 pounds.. Guess I"d better get to exercising!!!!  Boost up the weight loss and I MUST keep that in mind when I eat all the goodies I am making for Thanksgiving!!!  and the Anniversary get togethers!!!!

Day 14.. 13,12,11 =|

WOW Days go by like minutes ...   Friday I went to Pickerington to see my granddaughters gymnastics.. And let me tell you ..  it WAS Worth the Drive!!!   she's so dag on cute!!! And for an added bonus .. I got to stop in and see Jordan as he was eating lunch!!!     It was a Great day!    but I'm so far behind on my Blog...  yes I am Thankful that I have friends and family that are helping and encouraging me!!!   I didn't lose weight this week.. but I was expecting that since last Wednesday was a HUGE point eater!  and then I fudged a few days after that knowing this week was blown..  BUT I'm back on track!  This Thanksgiving week is going to be a challenge .. but I got some good recipes to help get me through..    I'm actually excited to see how much I can lose during this new week!   WIsh me Luck!  OK.. maybe Say a PRAYER !!!   =D   Saturday day I cooked all day getting ready for lots of company... and then we took the kids to the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at Triway High School .. Sunday was a Celebration Sunday ....  there was a meal after church where I helped and didn't get home till later and then John and Lauresa came over for me to help with some Christmas decorations Lauresa wants to  surprise her co-workers!  Here's some pictures of the Play!

Day 10

Today is my 25th Anniversary...  Work.. went out to eat.. came home watched 2 hours of TV... I'm Done !!!  Nite peeps!     I've been busy all day... yes.. you must wait till tomorrow to hear about today.. but here are some pictures to keep you guessing!    I guessed points...  I went to Longhorn with only eating 5 points for breakfast and lunch.. but I'm sure I'm so way over on my overflow points!!!   and.. I ate the cheesecake before I got a picture.. Sorry!!  =D  And I didn't touch my salad..   =\  sorry.. don't tell the Weight watchers people...

Day 9

Its a work day..   so I usually am really unorganized on these days...    Yes .. more than normal .! 

Breakfast:  as normal maybe I'll switch it up some day...
Egg and sausage casserole (7 Points)

Lunch: 
 1/4 serving of the Southern Stuffed Spaghetti Squash (3 points)
 1 apple (0 points)

Snack: 
1/8 cup peanut butter granola  (1 point)

Supper is hummm I'll let you know when I figure it out!!!! 

I opened the freezer and found Pork BBQ..   left over potatoes and peas.. tha's it... that's all I have energy for today!!!   I'd say about now .. you are saying.. seriously.. she eats Horrible!       Does she ever REALLY cook!!!   LOL !! So .. here's the deal.. I don't like to go to the grocery store.. and I send a grocery list to the store with Karl because he is really in to going to Aldi, Beuhlers and just plain shopping every day after work.. SO. .I send him..  BUT I have to realize that  most of the things I want he chooses not to buy right now...   yup thats right...  if its not a good price.. he just doesn't get it.. so like last night... I substituted, the recipe called for fresh cilantro and he didn't get that so I had to choose dried.. (and there is NO comparison) and I needed red peppers and had to use canned roasted red peppers...regular onions for instead of red onions... again no comparison.. so I have to use what is here..  or go to the grocery myself ..   I Hate Grocery shopping!  Actually I hate shopping !  I'm waiting on the day I can just send a list with my grandkids like My grandmother did!!! LOL ...   but Karl does a really good job.. and I wont argue with him..  but he can't argue with what goes on the table.. LOL !!!
 Now .. to figure out how many points supper was. !

Pumpkin Muffins     3 points per muffin!!!   gotta get me some pumpkin and applesauce!!!! 
2 1/4 cups flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons salt
1 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
2 large eggs
1 1/2 cups pumpkin
1 cup applesauce
1/8 cup oil
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
1 cup chocolate chips

Weight Watchers Key Lime Pie

·         timer 4 points per serving!!!   OH Yeah!!!!
·         Prep Time: 5 mins
·         Total Time: 2 hrs 5 mins
·         Servings: 8
About This Recipe
Ingredients
o    1 reduced fat graham cracker crust
o    1 (1/16 ounce) package sugar-free lime gelatin
o    1/4 cup boiling water
o    1 (8 ounce) containers fat-free whipped topping
o    2 (6 ounce) key lime pie yogurt
Directions
1.    In a large bowl, dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
2.    Stir in yogurt with wire whisk.
3.    Fold in whipped topping with wooden spoon.
4.    Spread in crust.
5.    Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
