ON days like today ...   I really miss my Mom-mom!   I sit and watch TCM and remember the stories she used to tell me about all of the old (even old to her) actors and actresses... She would tell me about how they got started and what happened in the news about them long many years ago.  She would tell me of going to the 'picture show' and  what the theaters looked like and how much it costs... Of course I dont have the memory at 54 that she had at 89 so I can't tell you what she told me..  I just remember the love that I had sitting in her living room watching those movies with her, whether it was  Cowboys and Indians or Clark Gable and Joan Crawford. Sometimes we would make hot tea and eat a couple of iced oatmeal cookies or we would make popcorn and iced tea. ... Sometimes we would just be together!
