Day 1

   This is the picture that did it!!!! Cute picture huh!  Sweet sweet Grandparents day....
   I've known I was over weight .. but looking at my bum sticking out behind my arm.. it horrified me!   I don't actually see my self .. looking in the mirror.. man I must have blinders on.. because I don't see what I see in this picture..  OK.. yes... I justify the way I look and its always because of the clothes.. .they never fit me right.. I'm never ok with any outfit I put on or happy with how it fits... NOW I know why!  Its Time!!! 
Today Im -With God's help and my husbands -I'm going to change my life .. how I look anyway!  I officially started Weight watchers online... I will start tracking my food intake and exercise... Yes ... The Horrid word Exercise..  I have been this size for far tooo long.  My weight has Always been up and down, but this is ridiculous!   I told Karl the day after seeing this photo ..  MY BUM is HUGE.. he gave me a look of I TOLD YOU SO...  and shook his head..  He is generally really careful about this .. but today .. he must have been really more worried about my health than his... coz...  any other day he could have got hurt by saying that!   =D  

 Day 1 ... Start Tracking ,  Start Exercising , Stop eating incorrectly !  

The problem I have always had is.. I don't get hungry .. and can go all day long without eating and it not bother me! UNTIL I get home from work.. then I'm famished... weak and don't want to put a real meal together until I've had a few mouthfuls of anything I can find already ready to eat... which is usually a couple or 3 cookies from the cookie jar.... a 1/2 a bag of chips...  or if there happens to be a donut in the freezer I just happened to bring home 'for Karl'  that has been in the freezer for months.  Its never an apple, carrots, etc...  !    THEN ,, I want to eat all evening ..  nothing satisfies or fills me up...  This has got to stop!  So NOW.. I have a plan!  

Here We go!!!!    

Breakfast:
 1 egg with 1 oz sausage  scrambled  (7 points )
Mid morning :  
  1 apple  (0 points)

Lunch:
  1 8 in  wrap  smoked turkey mayo and cheese  (I wont do this again.. too many points 9 to be exact)
Mid afternoon:
 Carrots   (0 points)
Supper: 
 Pork Rice Soup  (pork carrots,peas, corn, onions, broth, rice)   (8 points)
Snack:
apple and  grapes

I need to get a grocery list up..  everything around this house is Fattening!  I printed off the 0 point value list...  hopefully I can get to the store tomorrow!   If I understand it right  I can have 5 servings of the fruits and vegetables with 0 points added. 

I also did 25 minutes of Jilian 30 day workout!   sheesh! ITs been a while!!!  LOL   yep.. my wrists were even sweating!!!  hahahhahaha!

    I love the WW program and it is very easy to use.

    I have only been on for a month and here are some things that have snagged me and helped me :)

    Don't be afraid to use your extra points allotted. I was loosing weight fast out the gate but was afraid to use even the smallest of the the 49. Now when the weight loss is 1 to a half pound, I'm really frustrated and I have to admit, it has brought me down and I've made excuses this week for not tracking and because I've been running morning to night I've even talked myself into the lie that I've had not choice but to eat pizza 3 of the 5 nights.

    My second piece of advice is GOOGLE is your friend to search for WW friendly recipes,BUT be sure to plug the recipe into the recipe builder. I hogged out on some soup one night because online said 3 points, and when I plugged it in, it was actually 8!!!!

    I carry snacks in my purse, I usually have a zip lock of gold fish crackers (one pouch or 35 fish = 3 points) I love an ice cold Diet Pepsi and my goldfish. (The chocolate ones are 4 points a serving and good for a treat too :) )

    My last piece of advice I have is always have your water handy. I found when I was out of water and drinking more coffee or too much pop, it triggered my cravings for the old way of thinking of what always tasted best with these beverages.

    MOST Fruit and veggies are FREE FREE FREE. So eat them all you want :)

    You WILL do good and I know you can do it :) I have a picture of me from Scout camp this summer that keeps me motivated, and I was in the paper this week, and that picture shows my progress, I keep them both where I can see them :)

    1. THANKS for your support BethAnne!!! You gave me the incentive to go for it!! I thank you for that!!!! Thanks for the advice... I appreciate all the help I can get... I was told.. we are only supposed to have 5 servings of fruits or veggies a day and if we go over those 5 we are supposed to count them.. Is this not right... that would help so much!!! Also .. What is Power foods??? I have a list of them but have no idea what they are ! ??? Great idea with the carry snacks.. because I don't and get so hungry I want to eat the first thing I see .. and for me that's the cookie jar at the door (for the grandkids ya know!! LOL ) I haven't figured out the recipe builder yet.. gonna have to trial and error that! Thanks for that information!!! Yes. I have found a website I like that has WW recipes... www.skinnytaste.com there is a LOT of recipes on that website! yummy!!! I keep water with me everywhere and I rarely drink anything else.. Once in a while I will drink a glass of milk .. but I've found out that milk puts weight on me Fast so I try to stay away from it. although I'd drink it all day if I could!
